Binary degree or binary radian (brad) is 1 turn/256. In terms of the SI unit radians this is π/128 rad. The binary degree is used in computing so that an angle can be efficiently represented in a single byte.
A minute of arc or arcminute (arcmin) is a unit of angular measurement equal to 1/60 of one degree. Since one degree is 1/360 of a turn (or complete rotation), one minute of arc is 1/21600 of a turn (or, in radians, π/10800).
In relation to the base unit of [angle] => (radians), 1 Binary Degrees (b deg) is equal to 0.0245436926 radians, while 1 Minute Of Arc (MOA) = 0.000290888 radians.897100 Binary Degrees | to common angle units |
