Angular mils is a unit of angular measurement equal to 1/6400 of a complete circle, or about 0.00015625 circle. At 1000 meters one mil subtends about one meter (~0,98 m). The angular mil is used for artillary calculations.
Binary degree or binary radian (brad) is 1 turn/256. In terms of the SI unit radians this is π/128 rad. The binary degree is used in computing so that an angle can be efficiently represented in a single byte.
In relation to the base unit of [angle] => (radians), 1 Angular Mils (µ mil) is equal to 0.000981748 radians, while 1 Binary Degrees (b deg) = 0.0245436926 radians.9274000000 Angular Mils | to common angle units |
