The Bohr radius (a0 or rBohr) is a physical constant, approximately equal to the most probable distance between the proton and electron in a hydrogen atom in its ground state. It is named after Niels Bohr, due to its role in the Bohr model of an atom. Its value is 5.2917721067×10^−11 m.
A unit of length used to measure nuclear distances, = 10−15 meter. Named for the Italian physicist Enrico Fermi (1901–1954). Now obsolete, replaced by the SI term femtometer (symbol, fm); 1 fermi = 1 femtometer.
In relation to the base unit of [length] => (meters), 1 Bohr Radius (Bohr) is equal to 5.29177E-11 meters, while 1 Fermi (fermi) = 1.0E-15 meters.4739074959 Bohr Radius | to common length units |
